Yes, depending on the finish. Brass, Bronze, Nickel & Copper brassware finishes from Rutland London are considered to be “living” finishes and will therefore age and patina. The rate and extent of patination will depend on the environment in which you install your valves (temperature, humidity etc). As an inert metal, Gold will not oxidise. However, it is a softer metal and therefore great care should be taken to protect the pure Gold finish to prevent damage.
