Yes, depending on the finish. Brass, Bronze, Nickel & Copper finishes from Rutland London are considered to be “living” finishes and will therefore age and patina. The rate and extent of patination will depend on the environment in which you install your valves (temperature, humidity etc). As an inert metal, Gold will not oxidise. However, it is a softer metal and therefore great care should be taken to protect the pure Gold finish to prevent damage.
Rutland London offers both manual and thermostatic radiator valves. Manual radiator valves have a simple on / off functionality, whilst thermostatic radiator valves will regulate the radiator heat output through the control of the flow of hot water into the radiator. Manual radiator valves are generally specified with heated towel rails whilst thermostatic radiator valves are better suited to cast iron and column radiators.
