Every Vulcan Heated Towel Rail is handmade to order in England by skilled colleagues within our family-owned Hampshire factory. Manufactured from 32mm diameter DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass tube and supplied with beautifully engineered 75mm solid brass floor plates, every towel rail is carefully fabricated, silver soldered, polished and individually hand finished. Every stage of production is carefully controlled to deliver outstanding durability, precision and a beautifully refined finish, ensuring each Vulcan Heated Towel Rail reflects the exceptional craftsmanship synonymous with Rutland London.

At the centre of the design sits a high output Italian column radiator, providing significantly greater heat output than a conventional heated towel rail whilst introducing a distinctive architectural feature to the bathroom. The combination of handcrafted brass towel rails and a timeless column radiator creates an elegant heating solution capable of warming both your towels and the room itself, making the Vulcan particularly well suited to larger bathrooms and spaces where increased heat output is desired.

The Vulcan Heated Towel Rail is available in Central Heating, Electric and Dual Fuel configurations. The Central Heating model connects directly to your property's heating system, whilst the Electric option provides an elegant standalone solution where plumbing installation is limited. For year-round flexibility, the Dual Fuel configuration combines both systems, allowing the heated towel rail to operate independently during the warmer months without switching on the central heating.

Please note however that this product should only be installed on a closed circuit system and that we do not recommend fitting on a salt softened water system unless otherwise agreed with your installer. In addition, please note that this product cannot be fitted on a hot water system.

Similar to many finishes offered by Rutland London, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass is a living finish which will naturally age and develop a rich patina over time. The rate and extent of this natural patination will depend upon the environment in which the product is installed. Whilst available to purchase today in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass, Rutland London also offers more than 40 handcrafted brass finishes, including variations of Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold, allowing every visible brass detail throughout your bathroom to be perfectly coordinated.

The Italian column radiator insert is finished in a highly durable aerospace-grade coating, providing excellent resistance to everyday wear whilst maintaining its beautiful appearance for years to come. Rutland London can also supply the radiator insert in a bespoke colour, including gloss and satin finishes, or colours closely matched to leading paint manufacturers such as Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library, allowing the Vulcan to be tailored to complement your wider interior scheme.

Heated towel rails manufactured by Rutland London have been independently type tested to confirm their essential performance characteristics in accordance with EN 442 and other key harmonised standards.

When purchasing a heated towel rail or radiator, care should always be taken to ensure the product is compliant with the relevant directives and standards. Non-compliant products from other manufacturers are likely to be inefficient and could possibly be dangerous.

Bespoke sizes will have no performance declared ("NPD") for heat output unless stated otherwise. Should a heat output be required for a bespoke size, a non-refundable deposit will be required.

This heated towel rail is available to purchase today in central heating, electric only and dual fuel configurations.

Please note that valves and accessories (element covers, etc) are not included as the requirement for these is subject to your specific aesthetic and performance requirements.

If ordered in either an electric only or dual fuel configuration, this product will require 2no electric heating elements. These will emerge from the base of the heated towel rail on opposite sides into the floor.

ORDERING & SHIPPING

Lead time & shipping information

Due to the handmade-to-order nature of products from Rutland London, payment is required in full in order for production to commence - do note that whilst card payments are accepted via our website for products in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass, all orders for other finishes and special orders will require payment via BACS.

The indicative lead time on this product from receipt of payment to dispatch is currently circa 7 weeks in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. Please note that lead times are subject to our manufacturing schedule at point of order and that we encourage you to contact our office for a "current" lead time

It should also be noted that requirements for finishes other than Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will likely extend the lead time due to the additional manufacturing processes involved.

Delivery is carried out by our carefully selected couriers and in most cases is completed within 2 - 3 working days of the product being dispatched from our manufacturing site.

Larger orders may be delivered via pallet to ensure their safety during transit.

In all instances we kindly ask you to note that delivery is strictly curbside only - it is not the responsibility of Rutland London to carry your order into your property.
